Buildings
From wiki
You can place buildings in your village. Each village has space for 24 buildings, 1 stone wall or palisade wall and 1 castle or palace. You can, however, gain a 25th spot with the godpower expansion. There are a couple of buildings you can construct immediately at the start:
To build more buildings you will first need to research some technologies, or perform a certain godpower. E.g.: To build a library, you need to research the technology literature, and for a Hideout, you need to cast the godpower concealment.
Each building has a level, this increases when you expand your building.
The level determines the hitpoints (HP) a building has, the higher the level the more HP. The HP shows the strength of a building: When a building has more HP, it's less vulnerable to siege attacks.
Besides hitpoints, upgrading a building may also increase other things like:
- Capacity (higher level crannies hide more resources).
- Maximum amount of units (a siege workshop can build more siege equipment at higher levels).
- Training speed of units (higher level barracks will train troops faster).
- More options (an academy level 10 can train a leader).
All buildings have a maximum level. Usually this will be level 10, level 20 or level 30. If a building reaches this level (or has a higher level), you won't be able to upgrade it any further. There is one exeption though, the palace has no maximum level.
You can upgrade (or demolish) all buildings at the same time, but you must have enough resources. To move a building from one village to another, you can use the godpower teleportation.
A cranny, marketplace, palace, castle, tower and storage can be built as often as you want.
We can divide the buildings in 6 categories:
